Auckland Weekend Planner ("we", "us", or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information.
1. Information We Collect
Auckland Weekend Planner does not require you to create an account or provide personal information to use the service. However, the following data may be collected automatically:
- Usage Data: Pages visited, time spent, device type, browser, and referring URL.
- Search Filters: The area, age, indoor/outdoor and price filters you choose are sent with each search to our database host (Supabase) to fetch matching places. They are not linked to you and we do not store them.
- Newsletter Sign-ups: If you sign up for the weekly email or the free guide, we collect your email address and preferred language, and use them only to send those emails.
- Cookies: See the Cookies section below.
- Contact Submissions: If you contact us, we collect your name, email address, and message content.
We do not collect, sell, or share personally identifiable information with third parties, except as described in this policy.
2. Cookies
We do not set any cookies ourselves. Your language, your saved (favourite) places and your cookie choice are kept in your browser’s local storage and are never sent to us. Cookies on this site come from our advertising partner, Google. You can instruct your browser to refuse all cookies or notify you when a cookie is sent.

Ads are still shown, and Google may still set cookies for purposes such as frequency capping and fraud prevention. Choosing Accept allows personalised ads.
