How to choose
- · On a rainy day, look for the ‘Indoor’ tag — there are 6, plus 6 ‘Partly indoor’ spots that mix inside and outside.
- · Most Auckland beaches have a short walk from car park to sand — easy with a pram.
- · Most council pools have a separate toddler pool, and they are free for children 16 and under. Many require a swim nappy. Under-5s need an adult (17+) in the water within arm’s reach, and one adult can supervise at most two under-5s.
